DESC is working on an affordable housing development in Southeast Seattle, located at 3501 Rainier Avenue South. DESC's Estelle Supportive Housing will create 91 units of affordable housing with supportive services for homeless men and women living with disabilities. The project will also house a first of its kind partnership with Harborview Medical Center to create an innovative housing program that brings together the advantages of both permanent supportive housing for chronically homeless people and high quality healthcare services on-site. Approximately 15 units will be allocated for people exiting the hospital with healthcare needs who can’t be served in conventional residential care systems. This will also make on-site healthcare services available to all residents in the building. Construction began in early December 2016 and is expected to open in December 2017.

We will update this webpage as the project proceeds.
